Orea Hotel Pyramida Praha, Prague

The hotel has recently been redecorated but unfortunately, the rooms are very small and poorly designed. Although clean and tidy, they appear outdated compared to the website images. The bed was uncomfortable as it consisted of two singles pushed together, there was only a shower with a blocked drain, and the TV took a while to work. The air conditioning was also not functioning properly.

The hotel had a clean bathroom and solid shower, but no rain shower or private spa feel. The sauna area could be better utilized, and the reception should supervise the pool for safety. The rooms were very cold despite using an additional electric heater for our toddler's cot bed.

The hotel offers spacious and pretty well-equipped rooms that are clean and comfortable, but they tend to get very hot even with the cool air on due to air conditioning issues and outdated shower heads. The service staff couldn't do enough for you, although they could be more observant and attentive to details like adding coffee to the room. The location is great, very near Prague Castle, but a bit far from the Old Town center. The dining experience features a self-service buffet with a variety of options in a pleasant dining room overlooking the street. The hotel has a very nice pool, but the rooms are a little away from the proper City Center of Prague.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, although a bit noisy due to street and lobby sounds, were very comfortable. They offered a cozy bed, TV, safe, coffee station, phone, and a panoramic view over Prague. However, the temperature in the room was slightly warm. The service was generally friendly, apart from a slight issue with change at the reception. The location, about 15 minutes by tram from the city center, was quite good for both walking and accessing other areas. The dining experience, particularly at lunch, provided plentiful food options. The facilities were modern and clean, albeit the bathroom felt cramped, with only a stand-up shower and a slow-draining blocked sink.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location near major attractions. However, the dining experience left something to be desired with limited options. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
